The Bulldog Edition is about contemporary issues, such as politics, crime, religion, society, law, and injustice. It seeks to pop the bubble of current myths and prejudices and fuels the debate while it lights the dark side of the issues.
“Bulldog edition” is newspaper slang for early edition. One writer says the bulldog symbolizes intelligent, persistent, solid, and loyal. To me the bulldog symbolizes tenaciousness, opinionated, and dogged determination. It is also the Marine Corps mascot, and that is good enough for me.
